Registered Dental Hygienist
I became a CDA in 2006 because I knew I wanted to pursue dental hygiene. I went to school part time while working as a dental assistant until graduating from Bellevue College and subsequently Lake Washington Technical College. I joined Northwest Implants & Periodontics in 2015, where I deliver preventive oral care, providing maintenance, and surgery preparation. Besides the great working environment and coworkers, I am happy to work in an office with genuine people who truly care about what they do. Our team members are honest, smart, and genuinely want the best for their patients, community, and staff.
I moved to Seattle in 2004 from California in need of a life change and fell in love with Washington. My golden-doodle Ginger and I love hiking, cooking, baking, and staying active and healthy. Besides working, I enjoy renovating my home and trying new coffee shops; my goal is to try every coffee shop in the city eventually! I know all the coffee shops in West Seattle, so ask me for suggestions!
Lead Surgical Assistant
I graduated from Clover Park Technical College in 2005 and have been assisting in periodontal implant surgery for 13 years. Since 2015, I have assisted Dr. Farhat in periodontal surgery and coordinated our implant cases. I want all of our patients to feel comfortable and in control of their oral healthcare, especially if they are nervous. My team and I work hard to make our patients’ experiences in our office as positive and comfortable as possible.
I am married with three beautiful stepchildren and two English bulldogs. In my spare time, I enjoy playing my violin, archery, and hiking.
Registered Dental Assistant
I began my career in 2013 working in an oral surgery/denture clinic, as well as general practice front and back office. I became a part of Dr. Farhat’s office in 2017. I genuinely enjoy assisting Dr. Farhat in surgical procedures to help our patients regain their oral health. It is a pleasure to work with an amazing team that is supportive, inviting, and dedicated to patient care.
I was born and raised in the PNW. Outside of work, some of my hobbies include hiking, backing, weight training, and working on cars. I have one cat named Kiko and love spending my quite afternoons with her. I am always up for new adventures!
I began my career as an assistant in 2001 and after a year, went to work as a scheduling coordinator with a periodontics office. I have been with Dr. Farhat’s office since 2007. As our office manager, I present treatment and financial arrangements, and oversee insurance, billing, and other aspects of business management. I enjoy working with a team of dedicated professionals who all love periodontics and it really shows!
I am married with two wonderful boys. We enjoy traveling, camping, playing and watching sports, and spending time together.
I completed my dental assisting training in Spokane in 2005 and joined Northwest Implants & Periodontics in 2008. My goal is to create a positive office environment that our patients notice from the moment they enter our doors. I am here to schedule appointments, check patients in, and answer any front desk related questions they may have. I enjoy helping patients have positive experiences with our office and forming relationships with them. Everyone here is very supportive and treats our patients and one another like family.
In my free time, I love going to museums and learning about anything historical. Some of my hobbies include antique shopping, remodeling my new house, and spending time with my family.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I attended Central Washington University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I then attended Lake Washington Technical College for my Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999. A part of this team since 2016, I help patients care for their teeth by providing dental and periodontal maintenance, SRP therapy, and oral hygiene instruction. I like working with patients, answering questions they may have, and educating them how to best care for their teeth so they can last a lifetime. It's always nice when patients leave with a smile!
When I am not working, I love to spend time with family and friends, read, paint, cook, take classes, learn new things, and travel.
